ABSTRACT:

The synthesis of rhodium (III) complexes of seven thiosemicarbazones derived from 4-aminoantipyrine and various aryl aldehydes has been described. Elemental analyses, magnetic moments, IR and electronic spectral studies characterized the complexes. These complexes were found to have the compositions [Rh(Ligand)Cl3]. All the complexes are diamagnetic and are six-coordinated octahedral.
