Synthesis and Anticancer Activity of Some 1-(2′,3′-Dimethyl- 1′-Phenyl-3′-Pyrazoline-5′-One-4′-Yl)-2-Phenyl-4- (Substituted Benzylidine)-5-Imidazolinones

Some new 1-(2',3'-dimethyl-1'-phenyl-3'-pyrazoline-5'-one-4'-yl)-2-phenyl-4-(substituted benzylidine)-5-imidazolones are prepared by refluxing the mixture of 5-oxazolone derivatives with 4-amino antipyrine in pyridine. The synthesised compounds are tested for their anticancer activity. Structures of synthesised compounds have been elucidated on the basis of their elemental analysis and spectral data.
