ABSTRACT:

The synthesis of a series of 2-(N-Tos-or N- Pht-aminoacyl or free aminoacyl or N-Tos-or N- Pht-dipeptidyl) amino - 6-chIorobenzothiazole derivatives (II-XX) is described. Eight of various substituted 2-(N-Tos- or N-Pht- aminoacyl or free aminoacyl or dipeptidyl) amino-4-chlorobenzothiazole derivatives were found to possess specific antimicrobial activities toward different microorganisms
