ABSTRACT:

Some new azo disperse dyes were prepared by diazotised 2-Nitro-4-phenoxy aniline and coupling with various substituted aniline derivatives. These dyes were characterised by elemental analysis and I.R. Spectra. Dyeing properties of these dyes on polyester fibre were assessed.
